Jatim Park 2

            During my 2nd semester holiday I visited Batu City, East Java with my best friend. There  are many good place for enjoying your holiday in Batu City, one of them is Jatim Park 2 Malang.
Jatim Park 2 is the biggest theme park (with Jatimpark 1 and Batu Night Spectacular, because they are in the same area tho) in East Java, correct me if I’m wrong :) and guest what? It’s my first time visited East Java, I didn’t know about the routes, just relied on map app and some help from internet, so I hope you enjoy my uneffective holiday in Batu City.

The Routes

We leave from Jakarta by train, Matarmaja Train(Jakarta to Malang), the ticket is only Rp. 115.000, super cheap right? But the problem is the distance traveled is far away, we are in the train for 12 hours.

After a very tiring journey.…we arrived in Malang..

From malang we have to go to Batu, the distance between Malang and Batu is +-20km, It takes approximately 20 min using public transportation(Taxi, Angkot, Ojek etc.)

Batu Secret Zoo

In here you will find animals that not available in other zoo’s in Indonesia, like lemur, white tigers, white lions, white raccoon, white peacock, water mouse, white kangaroo. You can also feed wild animals like bears, lions, and tigers. These wild animals are placed in a big, open space and it has glass wall which makes the distance to visitors closer. There is a path that you have to follow. Through this way you’ll pass all animal places and cages and see them, if they don’t hide of course.

Musium Satwa (Animal museum)

Built with the architect as the White House, the museum has dinosaurs fossils with its real size & shape. There is also a handy path that leads you to see all kind of fossils. It has another entrance than Secret Zoo.

Pohon Inn

You can combine the visit to this park with stay at the Pohon Inn Hotel. At Jawa Timur Park 2 you can stay between the trees in Pohon Inn Hotel. The hotel is designed on the way as if you enter a big tree (from stone) with many facilities for your comfort. You get entree pass to the park that is including the room price package.

 If you want spent your holiday with a great memory and photo(of course), we recommend you to visit Jatim Park 2, we know all of you hate a museum, but guys it's not just a museum, it's a special theme park.
